They are buying them from owners for more than they paid, and putting their own markup on top of that.
Too little miles to be press cars, too many to be “new”, since dealers aren’t allowing test drives.

Yup, among other things. They are basically trying to corner the market on all ///M’s. I’m surprised they haven’t started acquiring all the Z8's yet.

Have they gotten any M2s at United BMW? I’ve been wanting to see one in person. Although every time I’ve been the sales staff has pretty much ignored me, maybe they’ll treat me differently if I pull up in the M3.

Not sure if they have one yet. There is this one parked out in front of the BMW/Mini Southeast office off Hightower Rd. in Sandy Springs. Not sure if it’s still there or not. Was a few days ago.

I used to get them, but haven’t recently. It’s a ploy to get you into the dealership, so they can sell you a new car by promising top dollar for your trade. They act like they have a customer looking for your “exact car".

I am pretty sure we do actually have folks looking for our exact car, eh?
Just haven’t seen a hand written note, with ink smears, in a really long time.
